Frequently Asked Questions

What is RayMiner all About?

RayMiner is a web3 app where you can earn cryptocurrency (tokens) for free through a simple type of mining. It is now the easiest way to mine cryptocurrency and works with all devices. You can also earn bonuses for playing lotteries and referring people.

This new version is a totally fresh redesign from the ground up and features a lot of improvements from the previous version.

What is the meaning of "Beta"?

Beta means that this version of the platform is still in the advanced stages of development and as such may have some bugs (i.e errors and problematic issues); it is therefore subject to occassional hiccups. The purpose of a Beta version is to test the app thoroughly and fix all existing bugs before the full final version is released.

This new RayMiner Beta version is a massive improvement over the previous version. We have made the mining process much easier and more optimized to reduce the load on devices and battery life. Now it consumes very little power and internet data during mining therefore it will work with most smartphones and internet connected devices and browsers.

Tip: To consume even less power, try to reduce the brightness of your screen while mining.

How do I Earn Tokens?

There are three ways you can earn tokens.

  1. Mining: To Mine, just log in to your account and remain on the mining page until the countdown gets to 00:00:00. If you leave the page and return, the mining restarts from the beginning.
  2. Lottery: Every couple of hours, the Lottery button becomes active and you can click it to play. Playing the lottery earns you a random amount of tokens as a bonus reward.
  3. Referring: You can also earn tokens from the mining activities of people you refer i.e those who register through your referral link. Note that you do not receive any bonus at the moment they register but if they mine regularly, you will receive bonuses for every 100 - 300 tokens they accumulate (the exact number is subject to occassional change). It is therefore important that the people you have referred are mining regularly so that you can receive more bonuses.

When Can I withdraw my Tokens?

Tokens will be listed and become withdrawable when the RayMiner platform hits the target of 2,000,000 registered users or 200,000 daily active users/miners. To see the current number of total users, visit your Profile page and check the notes below your earnings.

NOTE: Only those following RayMiner on social media will be able to withdraw when we hit these targets so make sure you are following. Click here for how to follow.

What about the Tokens Mined in the Previous Version of RayMiner?

A snapshot of all the tokens and earnings of all users from the previous RayMiner version has been stored and all tokens will be sent as soon as they are minted when we hit the target of 2,000,000 registered users or 200,000 daily active miners. Users will be contacted via their email addresses.

NOTE: The previous platform was the "Alpha" version which was an earlier stage of the development and evolution of the project. RayMiner is a long term project and we are going through these phases to build the community and ensure the best bug-free platform when the final version is released.

What do I Need to Start?

All you need is any device like a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer and a stable internet connection. You DO NOT need an email address or a phone number. If you are not yet a member you may start by registering. Registration is free and takes less than 30 seconds.

How do I Register?

To Register, you may either use a referral link from someone else (this is the preferred method) or you may Register directly.

I Already Had an Account in the Previous Version, Do I Need to Register Again?

Yes you need to create a new account by Registering again. The old accounts no longer work.

NOTE: A snapshot of all the tokens and earnings of all users from the previous RayMiner version has been stored and all tokens will be sent as soon as they are minted when we hit the target of 2,000,000 registered users or 200,000 daily active miners. Users will be contacted via their email addresses.

How do I Mine?

Mining is very easy. When you log in, you will be immediately taken to the mining page. It takes some minutes to mine a block and receive tokens. The number of minutes depend on the state of the blockchain at the time and is subject to occassional change  All you have to do is remain on the mining page until the countdown gets to 00:00:00. If the mining was successful, you will see confettis and hear a celebratory sound (if you have sounds turned on).

At the end of the countdown, the block is mined and you receive your rewards in tokens. The process then restarts with a new block and will keep repeating as long as you are on the mining page. If you leave the page and return, the current block being mined will start over again from the beginning.

NOTE: During the process of mining, your screen is kept active by the app and will not go off but will stay on automatically. Therefore one way to conserve your battery life while mining is to reduce the brightness of your screen. The dimmer your screen, the less power it consumes.

The more total tokens you have, the more mining rewards you will receive when you complete a block (these mining rewards are subject to change as the platform evolves).

How do I Refer Someone?

You can refer people by sending them your referral link and asking them to click on the link and then register. You will receive bonuses for every given number of tokens that they earn through mining. This means that you will only earn bonuses when they mine hence you must also encourage them to mine regularly.

Where Can I Find My Referral Link?

Log in to your account and click Referrals on the menu to get your referral link which you can share with friends or on social media. You may share your referral link anywhere but make sure to adhere to the policies of the platform on which you are sharing.

I Forgot my Password and Can no Longer Log in

Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve or reset a forgotten password therefore you must ensure that you save your username and password and store them in a place where you will not lose them.

I Can Log in and I Want to Change my Password

To change your password, log in and visit your profile page by clicking on your profile name near the top right hand corner of the screen. You can also get to your profile page by visiting the Help Center and then clicking on the button "Go to Your Profile". On the profile page, scroll down to look for the Button "Change Your Password" then click on it and follow the given instructions.

The Mining Progress Bar is Stuck in one Place and Not Moving.

Cause: This is usually due to a disruption in the network connection or your login session has expired.

Solution: Wait for up to 2 minutes and if it still remains stuck, Make sure your internet is connected and then refresh / reload the mining page. Or click to another page from the menu and then click back to the mining page.

The Mining Progress Bar Got to the End and Restarted but I did not Receive any Token.

Cause: Unstable internet or no internet

Solution: This is a rare occurence but if you experience this check to make sure your internet is connected then refresh the page to resume regular mining. If after doing this you continue to experience the issue repeatedly and consecutively, please contact Support to report the bug. You will find the Support email near the bottom of the Help Center Page here.

I Turned on Sound But When I am Mining there is Still no Sound

This occurs because some browsers do not allow automatic sound activation. The solution is to turn the sound button off and then turn it back on or click on the Lottery button if it's active. If you are on a desktop you may also just click on any part of the page.
